Will Mac’s New Year’s resolution end up killing her?
It’s the beginning of a new year and Private Investigator Mackenzie Love resolves to get in better shape. But after only one week of walking before work she interrupts a burglary in progress and ends up in the middle of a murder case.
Detective Jake Sanders, the man Mac’s dating, is assigned to the murder, and Mac along with her partners Samantha Majors and Ms. Prudence Freebody are hired to find the memorabilia stolen from the time capsule in Rennick Park. The two cases intertwine and Mac finds herself once more on the wrong end of a gun!
Can Mac and Jake find the killer and the stolen property before the killer finds them?
So much has happened in the last few years! I finished my Trouble in Pleasant Valley series—or so I thought! Until this year when another adventure with Madison, Nate, and Rafe kept begging to be told. Look for Death Under the Ice in December 2024.
And I’ve written a whole new series of books set in Washington, Missouri, a small town outside of St. Louis. These are mysteries featuring a pair of young women who have their own private investigation firm. The series is called Mac and Sam Mysteries. The third book of that series, The Case of the Stolen Memories, comes out in August, 2024 with a fourth already itching to get started.
Along the way, I’ve also written a novella and a few short stories, with more of those to come in 2025.
